Pinch-hitting with two out in the ninth inning, Ken McMullen came through with a two-run homer to lift the Dodgers to a 4-3 victory over the Expos. Pepe Mangual batted in two runs for the Expos, one of them with a homer. In the ninth, Bill Russell beat out an infield hit before McMullen batted for Jerry Royster and smashed his homer off Balor Moore. [The Sporting News]
