Hitting a homer and double, Tito Fuentes drove in all of the Giants' runs in a 4-1 victory over the Mets. Ron Bryant, who pitched a six-hitter for the Giants, gave up the Mets' run in the fifth inning on a single by Jerry Grote, a sacrifice and an error by Gary Thomasson on Wayee Garrett's line drive to left field.

The Giants came right back in their half when Bryant walked, Garry Maddox doubled and Fuentes hit his homer. Bryant walked again in the seventh, took second on a passed ball and scored the Giants' final run on Fuentes' double. [The Sporting News]
