Posting his second straight shutout, Don Wilson pitched the Astros to a 2-0 victory over the Pirates. The Astros got to Nelson Briles for a run in the fourth inning on a double by Roger Metzger and single by Cesar Cedeno. Their other run followed after Richie Zisk dropped a fly by Tommy Helms for a two-base error in the eighth.
