Enjoying his best game at bat since being acquired by the Angels, Vada Pinson collected five hits and drove in a run in the 10th inning to beat the Royals, 6-5. Leroy Stanton singled, Sandy Alomar walked and, with one out, Pinson cracked his fifth hit and batted in his third run of the game. In addition, Pinson also scored twice. [The Sporting News]
