. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Ray Fosse and Ted Uhlaender batted in three runs apiece and Graig Nettles and Roy Foster hit homers as the Indians outslugged the Brewers, 10-6. After falling behind, 4-0, the Indians started their attack with Nettles' homer in the second before taking the lead with four runs in the fourth.

Foster ignited the outburst with his fourth homer in five games. Other runs followed on a single by Nettles, walk to Chris Chambliss, double by John Lowenstein and passes to Fred Stanley and Uhlaender. The Indians then nursed their slim lead until the seventh when two-run singles by Fosse and Uhlaender and a bases-loaded wild pitch put the game out of the Brewers' reach. Jose Cardenal and Tommy Harper hit homers for the Brewers. [The Sporting News]
