Mike Nagy received credit for his first victory since returning to the Red Sox from the minors when Carl Yastrzemski wallopped a long homer in the fifth inning to beat the Royals, 4-2. With the score tied, 2-2, Mike Andrews reached base on an error and Yastrzemski followed with his drive into the right-center field stands, more than 430 feet from home plate.
