Season 1, episode 1

Comedy-drama series about a pediatrician and his family living in Hawaii. Brian Keith, who starred in the long-running Family Affair series, plays Dr. Sean Jamison. Keith's wife, Victoria Young, is a cast regular as his Hawaiian nurse-receptionist. In the first episode, Dr. Jamison is tricked into having his tonsils removed.

A woman asks Dr. Jamison by phone to give her son a "favorable sick diagnosis" and to forbid him to accompany his father on a sailing trip.

"The Little People" changes titles and starts its second season. Dr. Sean has his first encounter with a very proper allergist, Dr. Chaffee (Roger Bowen, joining the cast), who rents office space at his medical facility. Chaffee immediately takes over Sean's staff.
