Debut of an action-drama series played against the background of the American Embassy in Paris. Jack Brennan's assignment is to aid U.S. citizens caught in crisis situations. In the first episode, he assists a newly appointed Supreme Court justice after they receive a disturbing anonymous note.

When a close friend of Brennan's is found dead he refuses to believe the police report that she committed suicide.

February 12, 1970: Journey To Nowhere

Brennan falls for a pretty German refugee, and despite a warning from an American intelligence agent, takes her to East Berlin to look for her supposed ailing brother.

February 19, 1970: To Cage A Lion

Jack Brennan learns that an old friend, a famed writer, has enlisted a group of cronies to help him kidnap a Red Chinese author, who is in Paris to accept the Humanities Award for Literature. When Brennan, in desperation, finally tells the writer that he is mentally ill and his work has been affected by his condition, he turns on Brennan in a frenzy.

February 26, 1970: Ordeal

Jack Brennan becomes a suspect in a plot to steal top secret papers when he gets involved with an intoxicated member of the British embassy.

Jack Brennan, looking in on a hospitalized American who was injured in a fight, is amazed to discover he is a famous actor in need of plastic surgery.

Jack Brennan helps a man get out of jail for punching a Frenchman, and resume his final Paris fling with his wife.

Jack Brennan spots a look-alike for a beautiful girl who supposedly had taken her own life, and trails her to a hotel. (Last show of the series.)
